Shipping, Returns, and Merchandise Policy

Wingard’s Market values our customers and is committed to providing quality products, fair shipping practices, and clear return policies. Shipping Terms

Items ordered through the Wingard’s Market Online Store ship via First Class United States Postal Service unless otherwise noted. Orders typically leave Wingard’s Market within one to two business days of being placed. Delivery timeframes vary depending on the selected shipping method and destination.

Plant Warranty and Return Policy

  • With proper care, placement, and planting, Wingard’s Market warrants hardy trees and shrubs for up to one year from the date of purchase, excluding Acts of God, extreme weather, or infestations of insects, mammals, or fungus occurring after purchase.
  • Trees and shrubs returned alive, healthy, and unplanted within seven days of purchase may receive a full refund with receipt.
  • Trees and shrubs returned after seven days and up to six months from the date of purchase are eligible for a one-time replacement only. Replacement plants carry no additional warranty.
  • The original Wingard’s Market sales receipt must accompany all returned plant material in order to determine eligibility for refund, replacement, or store credit. No exceptions.
  • There is no warranty and no returns on annuals, perennials, citrus, tropical plants, indoor plants, holiday plants, water plants, sod, or balled and burlapped plants.
  • All plants purchased at a discount are final sale and are not eligible for return, replacement, or warranty.

Merchandise Return Policy

  • All unopened, unused non-plant merchandise may be returned within seven days of purchase with receipt, original tags, and original packaging for a full refund.
  • After seven days and up to thirty days from the date of purchase, unopened and unused merchandise may be returned for store credit only. No returns are accepted after thirty days.
  • The original Wingard’s Market receipt must accompany all merchandise returns. No exceptions.
  • Items received as gifts require proof of purchase to receive store credit. Refunds are not issued to gift recipients.
  • Gift receipts are available at the time of purchase upon request.
  • Holiday-themed merchandise may not be returned after the holiday has passed.

Produce Market and Backyard Nature Center

  • Fresh food items that do not meet expected quality standards may be returned within seven days of purchase with receipt for replacement or store credit. No returns are accepted after seven days.
  • Unopened, unused non-food items follow the standard merchandise return policy.

Fertilizers, Chemicals, and Garden Shed Items

  • All unopened, unused items may be returned within seven days of purchase with receipt for a full refund.
  • Returns made after seven days and up to thirty days from the date of purchase are eligible for store credit only. No returns are accepted after thirty days.

Discounted and Sale Items

All discounted or sale items, including plants, are final sale. No returns, refunds, exchanges, or warranties apply.
